RISE PILATES

Teacher Training

At Rise, we believe Pilates is so much more than movement – it’s a practice that nurtures the whole self. Our Reformer Teacher Training Programme has been thoughtfully designed for those looking to deepen their understanding of Pilates, develop expert teaching skills and embark on a journey of personal growth.

Hosted in our intimate Chew Valley studio, each cohort is limited to just seven trainees, creating a supportive and immersive learning environment. Across four dedicated weekends and 48 hours of in-person training, you’ll explore the full reformer repertoire, teaching methodology, anatomy and Pilates history, leaving you feeling confident and fully prepared to begin your career as an instructor. After finishing the training, you move into independent study; requiring you to complete self-practice hours, observation hours and apprentice teaching hours, to efficiently prepare you for the exam.

Our training combines hands-on learning with individual coursework and mentoring, allowing you to build knowledge, confidence and a true appreciation for Pilates as a lifestyle. With homemade lunches provided throughout the course and a close-knit atmosphere, we aim to make the experience as enjoyable and nourishing as it is educational.

Whether you’re looking for a new career, hoping to deepen your own practice, or simply ready to take the next step in your Pilates journey, we would be honoured to guide and support you as you become part of the next generation of Rise instructors.
